Artwork
Specifications
Pantones
must be stated either coated or uncoated, or we will assume uncoated.
If no pantones are supplied we will print from file, this may not
be the colour expected so please state on every order as we cannot
be held responsible for colour if pantones are not supplied.
Supplying
Vector/Line Art Files
Our
preference is for PC Adobe Illustrator files or EPS file. Although
files may be submitted from the following programmes: Adobe Photoshop,
CorelDraw, Freehand, In Design or Quark Express in PC OR MAC however
there may be an artwork/time charge.
Whenever
black is used please set-up as Pantone Process black (100%K) only.
We
can accept Mac files but when possible save as a PC file onto
a PC formatted disk.
For
PC as well as MAC files the fonts must always be transformed to
curves or to letter contours.
Drawings
must be submitted as 1:1 (where possible). Check carefully whether
the line widths are scaleable as well.
The
desired colours must always be stated as Pantone uncoated.
If
you cannot supply a Pantone value we must have confirmation in
writing to proceed with artwork supplied.
Supplying
Pixel/Images/Photographic Files
Our
preference is for PC Adobe Photoshop 7 files, saved as ‘PSD or
‘TIF’, however files may be submitted from any quality image editing
software.
Whenever
black is used please set-up as Pantone Process black (100%K) only.
Please
use as high a quality image as possible. Minimum quality is 1/4
size at 300dpi.
The
desired colours must always be stated as Pantone uncoated.
If
you cannot supply a Pantone value we must have confirmation in
writing to proceed with artwork supplied.
We
can accept Mac files but when possible save as a PC file onto
a PC formatted disk.

unlock all layers before sending any files.

Artwork
can also be supplied on FTP (call for help) DVD or CD.
Where possible please supply a paper print of your design with
Pantone colour references indicated.
We
will store files for 3 years.
